Free Places in Runescape

There are some free places in runescape, such as Varrock, Draynor Village, Lumbrige, Barbarian Village and so on. Today I’d like to introduce these places to you.

Varrock

Varrock has a palace located to the north. You can start the following quests here: Demon Slayer, Shield of Array, Dragon Slayer and Juliet. There are two banks in Varrrock palace. One is located east of Juliets’ house and the other which providers faster rune essence depositing is on the east. There are two pubs in Varrock: Blue Moon Inn and Jolly Boar Inn. You can find Johny the Beard in the Blue Moon if you are joining the Phoenix Gang. The other pub is located near the wilderness northeast from the palace. Below the Jolly Boar Inn you can find the location of mystic ruins for making earth runes north east from the east gate of Varrock.

By talking to Gypsy you can start “Demon Slayer” quest. The demon Delrithis located outside the gates of Varrock in the Stone Henge.

“Shield of Array” quest is started by talking to Reldo in the library inside the palace.

“Dragon Slayer” quest requires 32 quest points before you can enter, and it’s started by talking to ght guild instructor inside ‘Champions Guild.”

When you talk to Juliet in here house left from the west bank you can start “Romeo and Juliet” quest.

Draynor Village

You can start the quest “Ernest the Chicken” and “Vampire Slayer” from Draynor Village. It is located west from Lumbridge.

Veronica is walking back and forth outside the ‘Dranor Manor’ north from the house where you started the ‘Vampire Slayer” quest. You can start “Ernest the Chicken” quest by talking to Veronica.

Below the house where you started the “Vampire Slayer” quest is where you can find Ned. A bank is the easiest and nearest one located here. A prison is located east from the bank. A market is located left from the bank where you may buy toy horses.

Lumbridge

Lunbridge is the spot where you spawn after you died. It is also the place where you start after the tutorial. You can start Cooks’ Assistant, Rune Mysteries, Restless Ghost quests here.

Inside the castle to start the “Cook’s Assistant” quest, the climb upstairs. Head to the road to your east then stop on the intersection. Go the north road to get milk from the cows. After that, go back near the gates of the castle and head to the north road. You will pass the store. Then, you will find another quest, the “Sheep Shearer” quest. You can find a free shear spawning near the farmer’s house near the wheat field.

Barbarian Village

You can get to the Barbarian Village from Varrock, Falador, Draynor Village and Edgeville. From Varrock, go west and pass the Draynor Manor, then go north. From Edgeville, go down and from Falador, Follow road to your east. You will find a mine site here, and you can craft posts, bowls and pie dishes on the potters wheel.
